Many activities were realised such as:

- Upgrading the main road from the airport to Kanombe Hospital;
- House regulation;
- Construction of a modern market, a road and a high standard building as well as
- Land registration in Nyarungenge

Prime Minister Bernard MAKUZA in Eastern Province PDF Print E-mail

On 02-03-2010, the Eastern Province presented their Imihigo evaluation for the 2 first quarters of 2009-2010 before Prime Minister Bernard MAKUZA chaired the event with various authorities were in attendance.
In his speech, the Prime Minister raised issues of road construction and tree plantation as well as studying under trees and the high crime rate.

On 1st March 2010, in Musanze District Northern Province, Governor and Mayors presented their performance contracts achievements for the last six months in 2009/2010. This evaluation exercise was chaired by the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Bernard MAKUZA and other authorities in attendance.
Significant progress was made in the three Government policy, pillars namely Economy, Governance and Social.
