Rwanda’s Premier visits Musanze District PDF Print E-mail

From 16 to 18 September 2009, Prime Minister, MAKUZA Bernard visited Musanze District. After joining local residents of Kimonyi Sector in the campaign to quicken construction of classrooms, the Premier visited the Susa grouped settlement in Muhoza Sector. This settlement is home to 57 Rwandan households of all walks: genocide survivors, returnees from Tanzania, historically marginalized groups and demobilized soldiers. Premier MAKUZA commended them for their peaceful coexistence and requested authorities to help them get access to electricity.

Rwanda’s Premier launched a special programme to speed up construction of classrooms PDF Print E-mail

On 16/09/2009 in Musanze District, Rwanda’s Premier officially launched a special programme to speed up construction of classrooms. This activity was marked by community development works, umuganda, which saw a large turnout of local residents who gathered at Kitabura School Centre in Kimonyi Sector, where five classrooms are under construction.

 The Right Honourable Prime Minister Bernard MAKUZA on 10/09/2009 received in his office the Ambassador of Germany to Rwanda. In their meeting, the German Ambassador exchange views on issues the German Embassy is facing in the country; namely: An Investment Protection Treaty; the end of the Deutsche Welle lease and the STRABAG company dispute with MININFRA that need to be settled in a amicably. The Prime Minister expressed his Government wish to have all those issues settled for both Countries’ mutual interests.
