Performance Contracts’ Assessment in Southern Province PDF Print E-mail

 On 4th May 2009, Right Honourable Bernard MAKUZA, Prime Minister concluded   in the Southern Province his performance contracts’ assessment exercise for the 2009 first term.

In this province, the Prime Minister also inspected development projects in both Huye and Nyamagabe Districts before chairing a meeting at which all the districts detailed their performance. This meeting was also attended by several Government ministers (12) who gave their advices on how to improve and speed up performance activities so that most districts reach their set objectives by June 2009.

Performance Contracts’ Assessment in Eastern Province PDF Print E-mail

 On 30 April 2009, Eastern Province has been assessed in its performance contracts, on this fourth leg of the exercise, by the Right Honourable MAKUZA Bernard, Prime Minister, flanked by Honourable Ministers MUSONI Protais, GAHAKWA Daphrose, KAMANZI Stanislas, NSANZABAGANWA Monique, MUJAMARIYA Jeanne d’Arc, MITARI Protais and MUTSINDASHYAKA Théoneste.

On this term’s credit for the Eastern Province are found several activities, including purchase of tractors in a bid to mechanize agriculture, land consolidation, increased milk and crop production, and processing, initiating sacco’s cooperatives in various sectors as well as a development fund at provincial level.
