The program of the Government of Rwanda is extended to seven years, starting from November 2003. The program is grounded on the agenda of the President of the Republic campaigned for presidential election in 2003 and it is inspired by Rwanda’s 2020 vision in its general guidelines.

The program hinges on the following:

Consolidating Good Governance
This focuses on National Unity and reconciliation, Complementarities and Gender in mutual respect and based on democratic principles.

Empowerment of the judiciary
The objective of this program is to fight injustices and their causes, corruption, nepotism, discrimination, genocide and its ideology and eradication of the culture of impunity.

Economic Development
The objective of this program is to improve production both in quantity and quality so as to increase or improve the economic indicators through investment strategies in general, in the field of agriculture and livestock, craft industry, industries, commerce, tourism, and other economic activities.

Social Affairs
This program addresses the issue of welfare of every Rwandan citizen, which translates into our capacity to ensure food security, to improve housing and education, to have access to health services, to entertain ourselves and live in harmony with the community in our country.
