PRIMATURE
PRIMATURE
or the Office of the Prime Minister is responsible of the
implementation and execution of the national policy agreed
upon by the President of the Republic and the Cabinet. Primature
helps the Prime Minister fulfills his mission (Mission
of the Prime Minister).
In order to fulfill this coordination role, the Office of
the Prime Minister has 3 main Unities that works with different
ministries for follow up and coordination of Cabinet decisions.
- Unity
of Planning and Economic Affairs
The Unity is in charge of the coordination of programs
of Ministries that have finances, economic planning, commerce,
tourism, agriculture and breeding in their attributions.
These ministries are: MINECOFIN, MINICOM, MINITERE,
and MINAGRI.
The
unity has one Director General and three Directors:Director
of Planning, Director of Commerce, Tourism and Investment
and
Director of Land and Environment
- Unity
of Governance and Social Development
The
Unity is mainly responsible of the coordination of programs
of Ministries that have territorial administration, public
labor, external relations, justice, social affairs, health,
education, youth, sports and culture in their attributions.
These ministries are: MINAFET, MIJESPOC, MINALOC, MINIJUST,
MININTER, MINEDUC, MINISANTE, MIGEPROF, MIFOTRA, and
MINADEF. The
unity has one Director General and four Directors:
Director of External Relations, Director of Public Administration
and Legal Affairs, Director of Social Affairs and Director
of Gender, Youth, Sports and Culture.

Unity of Infrastructure and ICT
The
main responsibility of this unity is to coordinate programs
of Ministries having public infrastructure, housing and
ICT in their attributions.
This ministry is:MININFRA.
There
are also two other Unities in the Office of the Prime Minister:
- Disaster
Management Coordination:
whose main mission is the management of disasters in collaboration
with different partners and other ministries.
- Unity
of Public relations and Management of Internal Resources:
whose main activity is to link the Office of the Prime
Minister with ministries having finances and human resources
management in their attributions.
