Prime Minister attended the State Funeral for the late former President Mwai Kibaki
On Friday, 29th April 2022, Prime Minister Dr.Edouard Ngirente represented H.E President Paul Kagame at the State Funeral for the former President of Kenya, Mwai Kibaki.
Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Prime Minister signed the condolence book before heading to Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi for the State Funeral.
The ceremony started with the funeral precession after which visiting Heads of State and Government including the Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente paid their last respects to the body of late former President Kibaki.
After the State Funeral, Prime Minister attended a State reception hosted by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta at the State House.
