Prime Minister Nsengiyumva officiated the opening ceremony of the Africa Food Systems Forum 2026 Summit
Kigali, September 2, 2026—Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva officiated the opening ceremony of the Africa Food Systems Forum 2026 Summit at the Kigali Convention Center.
In his keynote address, Prime Minister revealed that: “Africa’s food economy offers opportunities across logistics, irrigation, energy, mechanisation, digital services, insurance, processing, retail and many more. The task is to build credible partnerships that connect capital to these opportunities and ensure that value is shared fairly across the system, especially with smallholder farmers, women and young people.”
