Today, July 5th 2019, Dr. Samir Saran, President of Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and his delegation paid a courtesy call on the Right Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente.

Their Discussions also focused on:

  • The just concluded Kigali Global Dialogue Forum, which is an annual Rwanda–based platform for conversations on contemporary issues of development and growth.
  •  
  • Developing potential partnership between the Government of Rwanda and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF);
  •  
  •  Dr. Samir Saran pointed out that ORF has already earmarked funds to organize and host the Kigali Global Development Forum for the coming 3 years (2019, 2020, and 2021) in Kigali, in collaboration with Rwandan stakeholders, especially Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB).
  •  
  • In this regard, Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB) has signed a MoU with Observer Research Foundation (ORF) stipulating the roles and responsibility for each party
  •  
  • They also discussed on the opportunity that Kigali Global Development (KGD) provides to showcase the current developments in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions) infrastructure that Rwanda has made in recent few years.
