PM Dr. Ngirente receives oaths for 3 prosecutors
Kigali, 25th November 2019
This afternoon, at his office in Kimihurura, Prime Minister Dr Ngirente Edouard presided over the swearing-in ceremony of three prosecutors who were appointed in the Cabinet Meeting of 10th October 2019.
The sworn-in prosecutors are Lt MUKAMANA Christine a Military Prosecutor as well as Ms.UWASE Alice and Mr. HABIMANA Donath who will be exercising their duties at the Intermediate level.
Speaking to the new Prosecutors, Prime Minister Ngirente Edouard called upon them to demonstrate a high degree of responsibility, integrity and discipline in their new roles.
“I want to remind you that you should always remember this oath that you made and strive to offer equal justice to everyone and also to make sure that the justice sector remains with a good image in the region and abroad,” Prime Minister Ngirente said.
“I also urge you to focus more on the recently arising cyber crimes, cases of mismanagement of public funds, and child sexual abuse” he added
The Premier further urged them to improve the use of technology in handling crimes since technology crimes are also on the rise in recent days.
