PM Dr. Ngirente receives World Vision President

Today, 21 March 2018 – In his office in Kimihurura, Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente received Richard Stearns, President and CEO of World Vision U.S. 
Speaking to the World Vision’s President, Prime Minister hailed the good collaboration existing between Rwanda and World Vision in the sectors of more interest and priority for the Government of Rwanda. 
Richard Stearns expressed his excitement for the example that Rwanda is showing to the rest of the world by setting up goals and working hard towards achieving access to clean water and sanitation.
The discussion between Prime Minister and World Vision’s President centered on health, education, water and sanitation, food security and fight against malnutrition.
World Visions financial commitment to the Government’s plan of attaining 100% water coverage by 2024 will be an investment of $40m, which will allow provision of water to 1 million people in Rwanda.
