PM Ngirente calls for expeditious justice

Kigali, 13th April 2018 - Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente urged military judges and military prosecutors to expeditiously deal with court cases.
The Premier made the call, today at the swearing in ceremony of three military judges and one military prosecutor who were appointed by the Cabinet Meeting on 19th January and 16th March 2018, respectively.
“Your task is not an easy one. Your decisions may affect the lives of people whom you will prosecute and judge. They may also affect their families. For this reason, you must take wise decisions.” Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister commended military judges to always be disciplined, hardworking, learn new skills and embrace new technologies for better service delivery.
While Maj. Cyrille Sibomana, Maj. Phanuel Kalibu and Cpt. Frederic Kayijuka swore in to work as Judges in the Military High Court, Lt. Triphonie Umuhire will serve in the Military Prosecution.
