PM NGIRENTE OFFICIATED THE 21ST CELEBRATION OF TAXPAYERS APPRECIATION DAY
Kigali, December 22, 2023: Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente officiated the 21st celebration of Taxpayers Appreciation Day in a ceremony that took place at the Intare Conference Arena.
Prime Minister commended all taxpayers for fulfilling their duties of appropriately paying their taxes on timely basis.
He also recalled the importance of tax reforms initiated by the Government of Rwanda to reduce tax burden, broaden the tax base, improve tax compliance and curb tax evasion while ensuring that tax revenues increase.
The Premier encouraged traders and consumers to make good use of Electronic Billing Machines (EBM), and strive to make it a culture in Rwanda.
Prime Minister also pledged that the Government of Rwanda will address the issue of VAT refund that has affected business community in our country.
