Premier Murekezi hails Rwanda-Korea relations

Kigali, 8th June 2017 - Prime Minister Anastase Murekezi commended the existing relationship between the Government of Rwanda and the Republic of Korea.  He made the statement this 8th June 2017, while receiving His Excellency Kim Eung-joong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Rwanda in a courtesy call.  Premier Murekezi appreciated the continued assistance to the Government of Rwanda in ICT capacity building sectors and human resource development for civil service.  Korea Ambassador’s courtesy call also saw commitment in improving investment ties with calls to Korean companies to invest in Rwanda.  Korea supports Rwanda through the Korea International Development Agency (KOIKA) and currently supports 17 projects in various sectors countrywide.   The New Korea’s Ambassador, Kim Eung-joong presented his letters of credence to the President of Rwanda on 23rd January 2017.
