Prime Minister addressed participants at the launch of the Foresight Africa Report 2025-2030
Kigali, January 14, 2025---Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente virtually addressed participants at the launch of the Foresight Africa Report: Top priorities for Africa 2025-2030.
This hybrid event was organized by the Africa Growth Initiative at Brookings Institution.
In his video address, Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the Foresight Africa Report as a platform for dialogue and on top priorities for the continent.
He insisted that a lot is yet to be done to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this regard, he noted that Africa must leverage new opportunities across various sectors to unlock its huge potential for economic development.
Prime Minister also shared with participants Rwanda’s experience over the last three decades. He revealed that visionary leadership, citizen-centered governance and inclusive participation have played a key role in Rwanda’s development process.
