PRIME MINISTER ATTENDED THE CELEBRATION OF THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF CHINA ROAD AND BRIDGE CORPORATION (CRBC)
Kigali, September 21, 2024--- On behalf of His Excellency, Paul Kagame, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente presided over the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), in a ceremony that took place at Kigali Serena Hotel.
In his remarks, Prime Minister started by congratulating CRBC for the great work carried out over the past five decades and commended its role in our country’s infrastructure development.
Prime Minister underscored the importance of roads constructed by CRBC in improving our transportation networks, increasing market access, and creating thousands of jobs.
He also appreciated the strong, long-standing and friendly bilateral cooperation between China and Rwanda and commended the fact that it was recently elevated to a comprehensive strategic partnership status.
Finally, Prime Minister emphasized that the Government of Rwanda is committed to strengthening partnerships with CRBC for a brighter and more sustainable future.
