PRIME MINISTER NGIRENTE ATTENDED AT THE KIGALI INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CENTRE EVENT
Kigali, June 21, 2022- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente attended the Kigali International Financial Centre event.
This event took place at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village Center as part of the ongoing Commonwealth Business Forum.
In his address, the Prime Minister noted that this event is a good opportunity for global business and investor community to witness the progress the Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC) is making in developing Rwanda as an attractive international financial destination.
He insisted that with the Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC), Rwanda seeks to establish and build not only a world-leading financial centre, but to strengthen the profile and reputation of the country as an outward-looking, global financial destination.
The Premier also revealed that KIFC will be critical to the success and growth of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), as it will increase intra-regional trade along with the seamless flow of goods and services across the continent.
