Prime Minister Ngirente attended the 19th Non-Aligned Movement
Kampala, January 19, 2024- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente represented His Excellency President Paul Kagame at the 19th Non-Aligned Movement Summit.
This two-day Summit took place at the Lakeside Marquee Speke Resort Munyonyo, in Kampala, Uganda under the theme: “Deepening Cooperation for Shared Global Affluence”.
While delivering his statement, Prime Minister underscored the importance of unity and collaboration among Non-Aligned Movement Member States in addressing global challenges.
He encouraged participants in this Summit to actively continue supporting and engaging in peaceful resolution efforts, particularly those aimed at addressing the root causes of conflicts.
He concluded by extending an invitation to all those who attended the Summit to the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will take place in Kigali, Rwanda in June 2024.
