Prime Minister Ngirente participated in Expo 2020 Dubai

Dubai February 2, 2022- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente represented His Excellency President Paul Kagame at the Expo 2020 Dubai that is taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 1st October 2021 to 31st of March 2022.

On February 1, Prime Minister Ngirente officiated the Rwanda National Day Celebration as part of Expo 2020 Dubai. This event took place at  Al Wasl Plaza and the Premier was received by  Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

In his remarks, Prime Minister Ngirente highlighted Rwanda’s remarkable achievements thanks to the home-grown initiatives and strong values of dignity and self-reliance.

As part of celebrating the Heroes Day, the Premier also paid tribute to people who exemplified the highest values of patriotism, sacrificing for the wellbeing of our people.

On February 2, Prime Minister delivered a keynote address at Rwanda Business Forum which was attended by Participants from Rwandan private sector representatives as well as top UAE and Dubai-based companies and business leaders.

In his address the Premier shared with participants perspectives on the key drivers to achieve recovery and growth in a post pandemic world.

He noted that Rwanda is committed to continue implementing innovative and creative approaches towards building the most competitive and enabling investment policies and environments.
