Prime Minister Nsengiyumva attended Catholic Church Double Jubilee
06 December 2025 –- Prime Minister Dr Justin Nsengiyumva joined thousands of Christians on Saturday, 06 December 2025, at Amahoro Stadium, as Rwanda celebrated a historic Catholic Double Jubilee of 125 years of the Catholic Church in Rwanda and 2025 years of Redemption.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister praised the Church’s enduring contribution to national development—highlighting its leadership in education, healthcare, and community well‑being. He emphasized the strong partnership between the government and faith institutions in building a peaceful, resilient, and morally grounded nation.
The celebration brought together believers from Catholic communities across Rwanda and clerical representation from Burundi, DRC, Tanzania, German and Austria.
