PRIME MINISTER NSENGIYUMVA ATTENDED THE 39TH ORDINARY AFRICAN UNION SUMMIT
Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva, represented President Kagame, at the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 14-15 February 2026.
On the sidelines of this Summit, Prime Minister participated in various side events. These include the second Italy–Africa Summit, the High-Level Heads of State event on accelerating maternal mortality reduction in Africa as well as the Meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee on South Sudan.
He also met with President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of Namibia and President William Ruto of Kenya as well as Dr. Richard Hatchett, CEO of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI)
