Prime Minister Nsengiyumva officiated the opening ceremony of the TDB Group 2025 Annual General Meeting
Kigali, August 1, 2025---Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva officiated the opening ceremony of the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Trade and Development Bank Group and the celebration of its 40th anniversary. This ceremony took place at Kigali Marriott Hotel.
In his remarks, the Prime Minister started by congratulating the TDB Group on the occasion of its 40th anniversary and commended its transformative role in advancing Africa’s integration, trade, as well as inclusive and sustainable growth.
The Premier also highlighted the Bank’s continued dedication in driving strategic investments and impactful initiatives, particularly in infrastructure, agriculture, and small and medium enterprises, as pillars of a prosperous and integrated future for the continent.
He revealed that the TDB Group has been a longstanding trusted partner in Rwanda’s development journey, supporting critical sectors including transport, aviation, healthcare, infrastructure, and agriculture.
Prime Minister concluded his remarks by stressing the need to scale up investment in agriculture and infrastructure connectivity to boost intra-African trade, accelerate regional integration, as well as drive inclusive and long-term growth.
