Prime Minister officially opened the 2025 ISO Annual Meeting
Kigali, October 06, 2025---Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva officially opened the 2025 ISO Annual Meeting. This meeting is taking place in Kigali Convention Center, from 6-10 October 2025.
In his remarks, Prime Minister emphasized that ISO Annual meeting is a platform for countries, ISO Members, and partners to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and reaffirm the importance of market-relevant standards.
He stressed the importance of standards in facilitating trade, driving innovation, enhancing climate resilience, and offering practical solutions to global challenges.
Prime Minister noted that the Government of Rwanda has placed standardization, conformity assessment and metrology at the heart of our development strategy.
In this regard, he revealed that the decision to host this year’s Annual Meeting in Rwanda, aligns perfectly with our national vision to build a dynamic, competitive, and private sector–driven economy that is open to the world.
