Prime Minister officiated the 11th Graduation Ceremony of the University of Rwanda
Huye, October 17, 2025: Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva presided over the 11th Graduation Ceremony of the University of Rwanda. In this ceremony held at UR Huye Campus Stadium, a total of 9,526 graduates were awarded degrees in their respective fields of study.
In his address, Prime Minister started by congratulating all the graduates, and encouraged them to carry the values that define us as Rwandans: unity, hard work and patriotism.
He further urged them to be bold, curious, adaptable and to challenge the status quo, because change doesn’t come from comfort zone.
Prime Minister also thanked the University of Rwanda’s leadership and staff for continued commitment to excellence. He insisted that the Government will continue supporting the University of Rwanda in its journey to become a world-class institution.
The Premier encouraged lecturers and researchers to continue aligning their work with Rwanda’s development priorities and provide innovative solutions that create value for our communities.
