Prime Minister presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Prosecutors
Kigali, 12 April 2023- Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente presided over the swearing-in ceremony of 4 prosecutors. These include 1 prosecutor at national level, 1 at the intermediate level and 2 at the primary level, all appointed by the Cabinet Meeting of January 30, 2023.
In his remarks, Prime Minister requested the prosecutors to always remember and act according to their oath.
He urged them to never disappoint their country, to respect the constitution and other laws, as well as to defend human rights and freedoms.
The Premier called upon the prosecutors to never use the powers conferred upon them for their own interests by avoiding all malpractices especially corruption.
