“Resist distraction and build your future” PM tells catholic youth

Rubavu 10, 2017 - Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente called youth from Roman Catholic Church to resist distraction and focus on preparing a better future. He was speaking to more than 5,000 youth from Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) who attended the regional Roman Catholic Youth Forum in Rubavu District from September 6th to 10th.

Prime Minister Ngirente cautioned the youth from drug abuse, unwanted pregnancies, school drop out and other misconducts. He urged them to concentrate on what can make their lives better like studying hard and use of information communication technology (ICT) in their everyday lives.

He further called the youth to participate in all development activities that the Government of Rwanda has initiated. The Prime Minister hailed Rwanda Catholic Church for having gathered the youths, calling other churches to do the same, as the youth are the engine of the country’s economic development.
