Today, July 5th 2019, the Right Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente met with His Excellency Boris Tadic, former President of Serbia (2004 -2012).
H.E. Boris Tadic is in Rwanda to attend the Kigali Global Dialogue, as a member of the World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid. The latter is a global forum of former presidents and prime ministers, and its objective is to address the challenges of democratic transition and consolidation.
The mission to Rwanda is under the framework of the Club’s "Shared Societies Project", focusing on mainstreaming Shared Societies’ holistic approach to sustainable development within the Sustainable Development Goals.
Their discussions mainly focused on opportunities for an inclusive implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
